Our speaker tonight, Melissa, gave us some great beauty tips!
* splurge on your foundation if you can...a good foundation is key to a great face
* apply your foundation with a sponge or brush rather than your hands
* do not use bronzer as a powder
* only apply blush to apples of your cheeks then smooth out
* do not over-tweeze eyebrows...good shape can go farther than tons of eye makeup
* where do I put eyeliner?...do NOT put it just on the bottom! always put it on the top, bottom is optional
* accentuate outer areas of the eye
* main things to leave the house with in 5 minutes...eye liner, mascara, blush and lips
* Q-tips are your friend! essential for makeup app...get that mascara off your eyelid without losing your shadow. But use a brush to apply shadow instead.
* mascara...root to tips, 2 apps but not more than 3. Wait too long between and you get crusty tarantula eyes....ewwww.
